The Food Pantry in the SF Chronicle

A front-page article on hunger in California says that the number of people served by food pantries in San Francisco alone has increased by 27% in the last year. Low wages, unemployment, and restrictive food stamp policies keep one in five people in this rich agricultural state unable to buy enough food. The article features photos of The Food Pantry, and quotes from some of the people who come to get groceries with us.
