Spring is on its way here in San Francisco––which means the hills are green, the plum trees are blooming in front of St. Gregory’s, and people are enjoying the sunshine as they wait for the pantry to open. We’re still enjoying citrus (beautiful big oranges this week) and a range of sweet potatoes and yams; each week we give away several tons of fresh produce. Happy Year of the Rabbit!

The generous and wildly creative people at Beer & Nosh and The Summit are putting on a special benefit dinner for The Food Pantry on Valentine’s Day, February 14 at 7PM called “Outside the Lines.” The dinner features food from Chef Eddie Lau, and desserts from Maison Mitchell, paired with a very special assortment of style-breaking beers.
