The Food Pantry’s mission is to increase access to food for hungry people. We provide food directly to the hungry through food pantries. We also provide funding to new and existing food pantries in the San Francisco Bay area.

I am the director of a food pantry north of Spokane, WA. I have followed your food bank experiences for about 6 month now. I am so proud of all of you! You obviously have a heart of service and compassion to be willing to rethink the best way to serve your 'customers' (as we call ours') and then to follow through. You are willing to do what is necessary and have committed volunteers willing to help make the latest situation work. Wonderful! I, too, have great volunteers (I am a volunteer also!) that are willing to go the extra mile for those less fortunate.....at the same time, several of us are right on the edge of needing help ourselves. These tough times are coming down on all of us and that's the reason we can relate to the stories and situations. Keep up the good work! I know you are being blessed (only the blessed stay with us for any time) and I know that blessing will continue. May God richly bless you all for your work!
